RYA SENIOR INSTRUCTOR
This course is for the experienced dinghy instructor who would like to oversee sailing in a club or outdoor centre. The Senior Instructor is the minimum qualification required to be a RYA centre principal. During the course you will have the opportunity to further develop your management of teams of instructors. This course includes sessions on all aspects required to run your own sailing centre. Our courses are run over two weekends, which gives you a better opportunity to reflect on what you have learned, rather than an intense five day course.
The cost of the course is £280 non residential.
Pre-requisites are as follows:

G14 with recommendation from a RYA principal

Relevant First Aid certificate (RYA or one recognised by HSE, minimum 6 hours)

Valid RYA Dinghy Instructor certificate

RYA safety boat certificate

RYA safe & fun certificate
The course is non-residential, although youth hostel accommodation is available nearby. Collection and drop off at Ulverston train station may be possible.
